Burnley striker Ashley Barnes says he has received a sly text from Jurgen Klopp ahead of his team’s match against Manchester City.
Liverpool have beaten Huddersfield and are now on the top of the league. Manchester City will answer Merseyside club today. After beating Manchester United in the derby, Pep Guardiola’s side will visit Burnley.
"I know what winning the League means. All of us would go down in Liverpool history if we helped them out against City." he told the Daily Mail.
"Jurgen Klopp has even sent a sly text to say if I score he might sign me for next season." Barnes added.
Burnley - Manchester City match will start at 14:05 (UK Time).
