Bukayo Saka opens up about Mikel Arteta's decision, revealing unhappiness

Arsenal stormed to a 6-0 triumph over RC Lens in the Champions League on Wednesday night, showcasing their offensive strength with goals from six different players.

However, amid the celebration, Bukayo Saka revealed a tinge of discontent with manager Mikel Arteta's decision to substitute him in the second half.

The Gunners, currently leading the Premier League, silenced critics of their forward line with a stellar performance. The Englishman, who played an important role and found the net for the third goal, expressed his desire to play the full 90 minutes.

The winger's revelation adds an intriguing layer to the team's success, raising questions about the dynamics between player preferences and tactical decisions within the squad.

Speaking to TNT Sports via The Standard after the match, the 22-year-old admitted:

“I wanted to play 90 minutes if I’m going to be honest.”

“I understand his decision and now I’m focused on Wolves and doing my best in that game as well.”
