Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimaraes has made his World Cup debut last night as he helped Brazil beat Switzerland 1-0 in Qatar.
The 25-year-old had an impressive impact after coming on as a subtitle on his side's second matchday of the tournament. The game was decided by Casmeiro's late winner securing Selecao's qualification for the knockout stages.
After the match, Newcastle's star took it to his Twitter to share his 'indescribable happiness' following his World Cup debut.
“Indescribable happiness to be able to play my first game in the World Cup. Everything I dreamed of, I accomplished tonight. Thank you Jesus. Thanks for the rating and the game. Let's go for more, Brasilllll.” Guimaraes tweeted.
