Manchester United players sent messages to Jesse Lingard following his debut for West Ham as he scored a double in the Hammers' 3-1 win over Aston Villa. Lingard joined West Ham during the January transfer window on loan from United. The 28-year-old was named Man of the Match.

After the game, Lingard posted several pictures on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CK2MhatpIrO/">Instagram</a> and wrote: "Perfect Start 2 Goals 3 Points &#x1f91d;&#x1f64f;&#x1f3fe; #JLingz."

And he received some praise from his former teammates as well as others.
