Brighton celebrated a crucial victory over Brentford in the Premier League on Wednesday night, thanks to a stunning first professional goal from 18-year-old Jack Hinshelwood.
The teenager found the back of the net with a well-placed header from Pascal Gross' delivery in the 52nd minute, ultimately sealing the win for the Seagulls.
The match had seen its fair share of action, with Gross quickly responding with an equalizer just four minutes after Bryan Mbeumo's 27th-minute penalty had put Brentford in the lead.
The win marked a strong comeback for Roberto De Zerbi's side following their 3-2 defeat against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. Hinshelwood's standout performance and memorable goal have not only contributed to his side's return to the winning column but have also highlighted the emergence of young talent within the squad.
