Marco Grujic has signed new long-term Liverpool deal before heading out on loan to the Bundesliga with Hertha BSC.
The Serbian spent last season on loan with Cardiff City where he made 14 appearances and scored one goal.
The 22-year-old completed a £5.1m move to Liverpool in January 2016, signing a four-year deal with the Reds before heading back to his boyhood club on loan.
The Bundesliga window does not close until the 31st August allowing Hertha to take advantage of the extended period by securing the combative Serb on loan for the rest of the season.
