Brazil leged Ronaldo sends message to Anthony Martial after Sevilla move
Brazil legend Ronaldo has sent a special message to Anthony Martial, who recently completed a loan move to Sevilla.
The Frenchman told Ralf Rangnick he wanted to leave Old Trafford earlier this month and, having had one attempt to sign him knocked back, Sevilla have rubber-stamped a move for the striker after agreeing to pay his entire £240,000-a-week wage until the end of this season.
After his move, Martial was visibly moved when Sevilla played him a video message from his idol growing up, the Brazilian Ronaldo.
In a message translated from Spanish, he said: "Hi, Martial. Welcome to La Liga and welcome to Sevilla. A big [club] in Spain and in Europe, with incredible supporters, localised in a great city. I wish the best for you, may you be very lucky. Hugs."
