Bild: Leroy Sane set for a knee surgery

Manchester City star Leroy Sane sustained an injury during the Community Shield. The 23-year-old twisted his knee and had to be substituted in the early minutes of City’s penalty shoot-out victory over Liverpool at Wembley. Pep Guardiola said afterwards that he didn’t think the injury was serious, however, last night, Sane was still in Manchester after being examined by the club’s own medical staff at the Etihad campus. According to Sports Bild journalist Christian Falk, Sane is set for an injury.
