Karim Benzema has made a decision regarding his future just before the January transfer window deadline, opting to stay at Al Ittihad for the current month.
Reports suggest that the French striker, who had attracted interest from various clubs including Lyon, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea, will not be leaving the Saudi Pro League this season.
Despite earlier considerations of a potential move, Benzema has decided to continue with Al Ittihad. The 36-year-old, who left Real Madrid last summer after a remarkable 14-year tenure, has been performing well for his current club, scoring 12 goals and providing 5 assists in 20 games across various competitions this season.
However, the uncertainty lingers regarding the duration of his stay in Saudi Arabia, considering the recent trend of notable figures departing the SPL shortly after joining.
