Ben White makes Leeds United claim after making England Euro 2020 squad

  Brighton defender Ben White has praised Leeds United after being called up to England's provisional squad for the Euro 2020. Gareth Southgate named his 33-man provisional squad for the Euro on Tuesday and is set to name the final squad on June 1st. White spent a year on loan at Leeds when he joined them in the summer of 2019. “Last year was amazing for me,” he told Brighton & Hove Albion’s official website. “Playing every minute for the best team in the Championship was obviously a massive deal. I’m so grateful for all the opportunities they gave me.” From Leeds, Kalvin Phillips has been called up to the England squad and White spoke out on the 25-year-old He added: “Obviously Kalv I was with him all last season and he’s one of my best mates. It’ll be nice to see him because i haven’t seen him since the last time I was at Leeds.
