Former Manchester City star David Silva has praised Erling Haaland as an incredible talent and expressed his desire to have played alongside him during his time at Etihad.
Haaland's remarkable performance last season, where he scored 52 goals in 53 games across all competitions, greatly contributed to City's achievement of winning the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League.
The Norway international, who has recently been recognized as both the PFA and UEFA Player of the Year, has continued his impressive form into the current season, netting six goals in six games, indicating he is on track to replicate his goal-scoring prowess from the previous season.
Silva mentioned that he would have relished the opportunity to create goal-scoring opportunities for Haaland, knowing that the prolific 23-year-old striker would frequently find the back of the net.
“Haaland is a beast and I like the way he moves on the field,” he said, via Mirror. “I would have loved to have played with him, to help him score even more goals!”
