Bayern Munich CEO gives FRESH update on Leroy Sane transfer

Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has not dismissed a future move for Manchester City winger Leroy Sane. Sane has long been linked with the move to Bundesliga side, however, the move last summer failed. The 24-year-old missed out on a lucrative £20.8million-a-year Bayern contract due to sustaining an anterior cruciate ligament injury in the Community Shield against Liverpool. "If we are basically still interested, which I do not rule out, we will speak to the club first to create a friendly atmosphere," he told TZ, as reported by sport.de.
