Barcelona were facing Real Madrid as La Liga 2017/18 champions, Real Madrid had to do a guard of honor or how they call it in spanish a "Pasilo". But Real Madrid refused to do it.So after the game Barcelona's staff made their own "Guard of Honor", as they were leaving Camp Nou after the 2-2 draw.
“Hello Camp Nou. Since we are Champions, and they (Madrid) did not give us a Guard of Honor, I would like to ask the staff to give us one.”- Gerard Pique, on the mic, after the game.
“Pique’s a box of surprises, the idea to give the players a guard of honour was completely improvised.”
said Ernesto Valverde about Pique.
