Barcelona chief Abidal makes public challenge to Hazard

Barcelona chief Eric Abidal has thrown down the gauntlet to Chelsea ace Eden Hazard. Barcelona are keen on signing the Belgium international and talks have kicked off with Hazard’s agents. However, Abidal insists the midfielder need to go public with his intentions. At Arthur Melo's presentation yesterday, he stated: "It's up to the player to ask if he wants to join FC Barcelona.
