Following Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger’s announcement to retire at the end of the season, Gunners are now looking at potential candidates to replace him. Among a number of specialists such as Massimilliano Allegri, Luis Enrique, Brendan Rodgers and Patrick Vieira, there’s a new name who emerges as candidate of Arsenal manager’s position.
It has been appeared that Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho’s assistant Rui Faria is on the shortlist to take over at Arsenal.
Faria has worked with the Portuguese boss since 2001, with him becoming his trusted assistant back in 2003. After so many years at Manchester United Faira expressed his wish to start a managerial career. So Faria will be interested in discussing the Arsenal job if the Gunners approach the Red Devils for his services.
