Atletico Madrid's improved '£4.2m bid' which could be bad news for Chelsea and Frank Lampard
Chelsea could suffer transfer blow, as Atletico Madrid improved their bid for Paris Saint -Germain star Edinson Cavani.
One player who has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge is Paris Saint-German striker Edinson Cavani.
The Athletic are claiming that the Uruguayan prefers a move to La Liga and he could become an Atletico player in the coming days.
According to RMC Sport, via Get Football News France, the La Liga outfit will launch a second bid for Cavani on Monday.
Furthermore, the report states that Atletico will increase their original offer of €10m (£8.4m) by €5m (£4.2m) which means the second bid will be in the region of €15m (£12m).
