Atletico Madrid star set to be READY for LIVERPOOL match

According to what has been reported by Spanish media outlet Marca, Atletico Madrid forward Diego Costa is set to make his return on the pitch before the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Liverpool.  Costa, who has undergone a surgery to correct a slipped disc, has been out for the action for a month and will not play until March.  However, former Chelsea striker is expecting to help his team against European champions in the second leg, which will be played at Anfield Road.  Despite struggling this season and scoring only 2 goals, Costa could become a vital option for Diego Simeone, as Alvaro Morata and Joao Felix, two other strikers, are also struggling to score goals.  Morata, Chelsea loanee has so far scored 5 times, while Joao Felix, bought for staggering £113 mln, has hit the net only 4 times.  The first leg between Atletico Madrid and Liverpool will be played on February 18, at Wanda Metropolitano Stadium
