Atlético Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has spoken out about João Félix future.
The 23-year-old joined the Premier League outfit with a season-long loan deal in January. Since his arrival, the Portugal international has made an impressive start at Stamford Bridge making a total of 11 domestic league appearances and scoring just once.
As per reports, the West London side are happy with the attacker's performances so far and are planning to make his stay permanent in the summer, despite the fact that there is no buy clause in the deal.
Speaking to El Larguero quoted by Fabrizio Romano, the president has stated that if the player decided to return to the Spanish capital 'he will have a place' in the squad.
"What's next for João? He will have a place in the team if he comes back here, for sure. We don't know what will happen. In football, you can't take anything for granted."
