Aston Villa provided Jack Grealish injury update ahead of West Brom

Jack Grealish could miss another three matches to take his injury absence to 12 successive games. The Aston Villa captain has been sidelined since suffering a shin injury during a training session before Villa’s 2-1 defeat to Leicester City on February 21. Head coach Dean Smith confirmed at Friday’s press conference that the 25-year-old will miss Sunday’s clash against West Bromwich Albion at Villa Park. "There's not really a timeline (on his injury) as such,” said Smith. “He's due to have a scan next week. Hopefully that clears it up and we go full board with training. “We'll be guided by the time and the medical practitioners. I have no doubts he'll be OK for the Euros." According to the Telegraph Villa fear he will miss the games against Everton and Manchester United as well as Albion in a further blow for Smith's side. That means the trip to Crystal Palace, currently planned for May 11, could be seen as a realistic return date. Source- BirminghamLive Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
