Arteta confident of attracting high-quality players despite exiting seniors

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that the club will lose some of its senior players during the upcoming transfer window. Arteta acknowledged that these decisions are always difficult to make, but he is prepared to be ruthless in order to improve the squad, reports Tribal Football

"Whether it's to recruit, or other decisions, some players sometimes don't want to continue with us, some staff members," Arteta said. "It's always tough, especially when you have good relationships with those individuals, but we are here to win. That's the purpose of everybody at the club. We have to win and to win we have to do it in our way and to do that we have to make decisions."

Despite the expected departures, Arteta remains confident about attracting high-quality players to the Emirates Stadium. "We are really lucky because when you open the doors of Arsenal and you talk about Arsenal to any player, they want to come," he said, adding that his experience has shown that this is true even when the team is not playing in the Champions League.

A number of players have already been linked with a move to Arsenal, including Declan Rice, Mason Mount, and Marc Guehi. The club is reportedly confident of bringing in players who can help the team continue its recent improvement.

Former Arsenal player Ian Wright has praised the team's progress under Arteta and believes that the club is moving in the right direction. "I think the club is really happy with the progress they are making," Wright said in an interview with The Athletic. "They are looking to get players that can add quality to the team."

It remains to be seen which players will leave Arsenal and which new signings will arrive, but Arteta is determined to continue building a squad that can compete at the highest level.
