Arsenal's young midfielder Emile Smith Rowe is determined to continue his journey with the club despite not currently being a regular starter under manager Mikel Arteta.
The academy graduate faced significant challenges due to injuries last season, but he believes these experiences have strengthened his mental resilience and determination.
Smith Rowe explained, "I've adjusted my mindset to be more fearless and proactive. I don't have much to lose. I've worked on changing my inner doubts and boosting my confidence. I now feel very confident, physically fit, and I'm carrying that mindset into my performances."
He expressed confidence in himself and credited his support system, including family, friends, and the club, for helping him through tough times. Smith Rowe emphasized the importance of persevering and remaining confident, believing that opportunities will come his way.
Reflecting on his challenging period, he said, "It was a difficult time, with surgery and setbacks on the pitch, but it's all part of football. You have to confront these challenges, experiencing both highs and lows. I feel much stronger and fitter now."
