Gunners, linked with a possible move of Stefan de Vrij from Lazio, may switch to Gimenez as an alternative choice. 23-year-old Gimenez plays for Diego Simeone’s side from 2014 and have become one of the most reliable defenders in the world. Arsenal wants a center-back as a first choice during transfer window, as they are not compatible for higher position and top titles with only top-class offensive players.
