On Friday Euro U17’s tournament will kick off in Irland and a number of excited talents will be on display with their national teams. It’s a boost for top clubs ahead of summer transfer window as they will have a chance to watch them play and choose talents for their squads.
Reportedly, Arsenal scouts will be there to watch Rennes right-sided defender Brandon Soppy, who will play for the France squad.
The 17-year-old signed his first professional deal back in October and is tied to the Ligue 1 club until 2021.
The news of Arsenal’s interest comes from RMC Sport Journalist Loic Tanzi on Twitter, who also pointed out that Monaco will be joining the Gunners in watching the defender throughout the tournament.
