Arsenal have turned their attention to RB Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai as they hunt for a dynamic midfielder who can replace Aaron Ramsey.
The player has been a target for top sides in England and Europe, including Juventus, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Lazio and now for Arsenal but his agent has confirmed that now Szoboszlai is focused on his current club.
"I can confirm a number of the top Premier League clubs are interested in Dominik but at this point I can not confirm or deny specific clubs," Szoboszlai's agent, Matyas Esterhazy, told
football.london.
"My client is focusing on his current club and the upcoming challenges of the next season both in the league and the Champions League."
Central midfielder Szoboszlai made 29 appearances for Salzburg last season, scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists. His current side paid just £400,000 to sign him from second tier FC Liefering in January but now Salzburg would demand a fee of up to £15million to secure one of their brightest young prospects.
