Arsenal are preparing to face Newcastle in the Premier League on Tuesday, January 3.
The Gunners could be without Emile Smith Rowe as he is expected to be out of the squad due to injury, according to football.london. Smith Rowe has been sidelined since September having suffered a groin injury and had surgery.
Smith Rowe returned to training in December, however, suffered a set back before the return of the Premier League on Boxing Day and is expected to return to full training in couple of weeks.
However, the clash at Emirates against the Magpies will come to soon for the player.
Currently, Arsenal lead the league table with seven points ahead of second placed Manchester City.
