Arsenal failed with £37.5m huge bid for Malcom

Arsenal reportedly had a £37.5million offer for Bordeaux winger Malcom rejected in January. Under-fire Gunners boss Arsene Wenger attempted to lure Malcom to the Emirates in the last transfer window but the player's club stood firm, insisting he would not be sold at any price. It is claimed that Bordeaux were holding out for €50m as well as a further €10m in bonuses, a figure Arsenal were not willing to meet. Currently, Premier League rivals Manchester City and Chelsea are believed to be keen on the young talent, while Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Monaco and RB Leipzig are also monitoring the player's situation.
