Arsenal last week denied the 53-year-old had handed in his notice but the North London club’s powerbrokers and manager Unai Emery are growing increasingly frustrated at the situation, according to The Times. Arsenal remain confident they have a structure in place to cope with his loss, but Emery would undoubtedly view it as a blow having been appointed on Gazidis’ recommendation after daily meetings throughout the summer.
