Arsenal chief Edu set to complete transfer to take teenage son to Emirates

On July 9 it was revealed that Arsenal have appointed Edu Gaspar as their new technical director. The former Gunner joined Arsenal from the Brazilian Football Confederation, after having  helped Brazil to win their first Copa America in 12 years. After joining the Gunners as technical director, it has been reported by Brazilian website Meu Timao (via Mirror) that Edu is set to bring his 15-year-old son Luigi Gaspar to the North London side. "It was a pleasure to play for Corinthians, where I’ve won many titles, I’ve grown as person to be who I am today. My heart is black and white," wrote the 15-year-old on his Instagram account. "Thanks again for everything Corinthians. I will forever be grateful to all of you."
