Former Manchester United star Andy Cole has named Marcus Rashford as the Red Devils' player of the season.
Rasfhord has returned to his best form under the Dutch boss Erik ten Hag, shining for the team following the World Cup 2022. Some football critics even called him one of the best attackers of the time amid the player's exceptional form.
When picking the best United player of the ongoing 2022/23 term, Cole admitted Luke Shaw should need much credit for the job he has done at Old Trafford. Yet, the ex-Red Devils man decided to stick with Rashford as the main hero of the team.
“I know Luke Shaw has done extremely well but without Rashford’s goals we wouldn’t find ourselves in the position we find ourselves in," he said, via Stretty News.
“I think his goals have been massive for Manchester United this season. I think we’ve lacked goals all season but I think it has to be Marcus for the way he’s come back.”
