Alan Shearer has expressed admiration for Liverpool's young talent Conor Bradley following his performance against Fulham.
In the Carabao Cup semi-final's first leg, the Reds secured a 2-1 comeback victory, with substitutes Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo receiving praise, but Bradley also stood out.
Due to injuries to key players, Liverpool had to make adjustments, with Trent Alexander-Arnold sidelined and Joe Gomez playing on the opposite side.
In the absence of James Milner, Jurgen Klopp entrusted 20-year-old Conor Bradley with the right-back position, a decision that paid off. Bradley delivered a solid performance, showcasing his skills at both ends of the pitch and earning the title of Liverpool's Player of the Match.
Shearer, having observed Bradley's performance, praised the young player on The Rest is Football podcast's latest episode.
“Big mention, you know, for the young boy, he came on at Arsenal at the weekend, Conor Bradley, right-back. And then he got his start against Fulham," he said, via TBRFoorball.
“He was brilliant, he was fantastic both offensively and defensively. For someone so young to come in, I just thought he looked absolutely superb.”
