Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has commended Wataru Endo for his outstanding performance in the recent Europa League match against Toulouse.
The Reds convincingly defeated the French team, scoring five goals, and it was a relatively easy game for the Reds. Endo, who scored his first-ever goal for the club, demonstrated his quality with an exceptional performance in the midfield during the recent game.
He controlled the match, displayed excellent ball-handling skills, and even found the back of the net. Endo's performance was well-received by Liverpool fans, and Klopp highlighted his contribution during the post-match press conference.
“I’m not sure people think that’s spectacular or whatever, but the forward passes he played tonight were absolutely incredible and how often he broke lines with one touch was absolutely insane and then he scores a wonderful goal, which helps each player – even a more experienced player," the manager said, via Liverpoolfc.com.
“So that’s really cool. He would have got a similar hug if I would have taken him off.”
