Four Premier League clubs have supported the idea of voiding the season 2019/20 and starting a new one.
The world football has been suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak, which rose the concerns that the league season could not be completed.
The thing is that Premier League clubs would collectively lose up to £1.2bn if the season is voided. It may also lead to real-world concerns, affecting the industry, especially at a time of depression. This is why most of Premier League clubs want to complete the campaign.
However, four Premier League clubs, including Watford, Bournemouth, Aston Villa and Norwich City, are eager to void the season. They are sharing the last four positions of the league table, which means they could have more financial loss if returning to the Championship.
