Manchester United announced the signing of Edinson Cavani on the transfer deadline day. Cavani has been without a club since July 2020 when his contract with Ligue 1 side PSG expired.
However, the Red Devils fans will have to wait a little longer for the 33-year-old's debut as the player is forced to self-isolate. Under UK government guidelines, anyone arriving from France has to quarantine for 14 days.
With Cavani having to self-isolate, it would mean that the 33-year-old would be available the day after United's next game against Newcastle on Saturday, October 17.
And according to
the Times, Manchester United officials are seeking clarification whether Cavani will need to complete the mandatory quarantine.
