Edinson Cavani has spoken out on the situation between him and Neymar

The Brazil vs Uruguay friendly came out to be more than just a friendly game. An incident during which Cavani fouled Neymar has been at the center of attention over this few days. In the game where Brazil won 1-0 over Uruguay thanks to Neymar's only penalty, Cavani played harsh on the Brazilian after which he got a yellow card. There was tension between the players during the game and it has been talked a lot. After the game, their teammate, Kylian Mbappe sent a WhatsApp message to Neymar. “I sent Neymar a Whatsapp with the video of Cavani’s foul, and he laughed," saied Mbappe. “Really it’s nothing, they were defending their countries and it won’t prevent them from playing together at PSG and giving each other big hugs.” And after the game, Cavani also spoke about the incident: “When two South American teams meet, it’s always a bit intense, I think it was a very good match, and in the end we protested a bit about the penalty." But the rumors kept coming around that there is something wrong between the two. And to end the rumors, Cavani was again questioned about his relationship with Neymar after Uruguay's friendly against France on Tuesday, and the striker responded by angrily blaming the media for constant speculation. "Neymar? You need to stop this. It's you the media that are creating something from nothing," Cavani said in the mixed zone after the game. "On the outside, everybody has his own life. On the inside, everyone works for the best interests of the club."
