Edinson Cavani faces possible FA ban in big blow after Southampton win

Manchester United newcomer Edinson Cavani is facing the possibility of an FA ban after a controversial Instagram post following United's 3-2 win over Southampton. Cavani came off the bench when the Red Devils were 2-0 down against Southampton and completely changed the game as he assisted Bruno Fernandes' goal and later scored a double to secure the three points for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side. After the game, the Uruguayan took to Instagram and reshared a post from a fan on his story and wrote “Gracias Negrito”, a term which similarly landed Luis Suarez an eight game ban following an exchange with Patrice Evra. It is thought that the next step will see the FA ask the United striker to explain the remark, while the club have yet to comment on the incident. Cavani has since deleted the post. source - Express / Join us on Telegram
