Eden Hazard names the Premier League clubs he turned down to join Chelsea

Photo/ChelseaFC Chelsea star Eden Hazard joined the club in a £32 million deal from Lille in 2012. After seven years at the club, Hazard is now a subject of interest from Real Madrid but before his possible move to Spain, the Belgium international has revealed he turned down approaches from Tottenham, Manchester City and Manchester United in favour of a move to Stamford Bridge. "I had a chance to sign for Manchester United, Man City, Tottenham," said Hazard, who also revealed that his agent held talks with then-Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger. "But I made the right decision. “I spoke with the owner and I had Didier Drogba and [Lille team-mate] Joe Cole on the phone telling me this was the best club. I was a little bit scared when I first arrived. Didier Drogba had left and when you have Drogba in the team for sure you win a trophy. But in the end, I played with top players. And if you look at my seven years at Chelsea we did something amazing together. We won trophies together and I am just happy." Hazard has helped Chelsea to two Premier League titles as well as triumphs in the Europa League, FA Cup and League Cup. The Belgium international will decide his future after the Europa League final against Arsenal. The game will take place in Azerbaijan’s capital, Baku on Wednesday, May 29. Source-The Mirror
