Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas waved goodbye to Stamford Bridge during Saturday's 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
The midfielder was handed a rare start and given the captain's armband for his final appearance in a blue shirt as he gets set to join Monaco.
In his farewell message, Cesc Fabregas said: "Time flies. It feels like last week that I started playing professionally and now it's more than 15 years."
His teammate, Eden Hazard has also paid a tribute to Cesc Fabregas after yesterday's farewell game with Chelsea.
"What does Fabregas mean to Chelsea? Everything," said Hazard.
"In five years, I can say that I was lucky to play with him. He is a big guy on and off the field. He is a great friend. I just admire him. I hope he will have a good future. He is still a very good player. He will enjoy it." (via
