After the sensational defeat on June 1 at Madison Square Garden, former heavyweight champion Joshua will meet Ruiz again and capital city of Wales is favourites to host this rematch, with O2 Arena (London) remaining an alternative option for Hearn and his team.
Andy Ruiz has recently announced he’s not going to face Joshua in UK and prefers to meet his opponent in Mexico, his home country or in US, as back in June.
“This week we will be letting Team Ruiz know the venue. Whether you hear it or not, well someone at Sky will hear it, but whether the wider media hear it or not, I’m not too sure how that announcement will work.” Promoter told Sky Sports
