Eddie Hearn promises Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury fight ‘will happen’

Promoter Eddie Hearn has affirmed boxing fans that the fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury will go ahead. Fury claimed that Joshua's camp had done nothing in to make the fight happen. Meanwhile, Joshua, referring to himself as the “boss”, told Sky Sports this week that the aim was for a June date for the duo to meet. Now, Hearn has explained how discussions have been ongoing. “Myself, Anthony, we’ve been working tirelessly with the lawyers to get this over the line. Stand by. Tyson Fury is going to get his wish, we are in. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide,” he said via Boxing Social. “The undisputed king is going to be Anthony Joshua and I promise you that, and this fight will happen. When you hear it from the boss - and he is the boss - that’s when it’s on. And what you heard is you heard it from the boss.” Joshua is the WBA, WBO and IBF champion, while Fury holds the WBC title.
