Eddie Hearn makes stunning revelation about Anthony Joshua defeat to Andy Ruiz JR

Photo/Nick Potts/PA/Getty Images Eddie Hearn has admitted Anthony Joshua was relieved to be beaten by Andy Ruiz Jr in one of boxing’s most stunning upsets. 2012 Olympic Gold Medalist and former IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight-boxing champion Joshua was knocked out in the seventh round at Madison Square Garden Saturday night by massive betting odds underdog Ruiz Jr. "Anthony has this massive pressure on his shoulders all the time," he said on BBC Radio 5 Live's No Passion, No Point podcast. "He is the first megastar of boxing in this country and it was almost like a relief to him. "He will never admit that but the fact that I am the challenger now, I am not this champion who has four belts and who everyone expects me to win all the time…. Its kind of like the pressure is off."
