Eddie Hearn believes Andy Ruiz would 'tear Deontay Wilder apart'

Eddie Hearn believes Andy Ruiz would 'tear Deontay Wilder to pieces' if they were to go head to head. Ruiz JR beat Hearn's fighter Anthony Joshua in their first fight back in June, however, Joshua beat Ruiz in their rematch in December to regain his three belts. Wilder, meanwhile, was beaten by Tyson Fury in their rematch on February 22 in Las Vegas. The Gypsy King dropped the American in the third and fifth rounds before Wilder’s corner threw in the towel in the seventh session. In an interview with ‘Behind the Gloves’, Hearn stated: “I can’t wait for Andy Ruiz to come back. The fight's between Ruiz and Wilder…watching Wilder the other night, Ruiz would tear Wilder to pieces. “He’s got a great chin. He’s got fast hands; he’s going to back you up. Ruiz against Luis Ortiz. Ruiz against Dillian Whyte. These are great, great fights.” Source: GMS
