Amir Khan and Kell Brook’s promoter Eddie Hearn, is hoping to finally match the two domestic rivals on a date in early March.
"I think early March is the date that is sort of pencilled at the moment. I've seen the footage where apparently Amir shook his hand and said 'Trust me, it's happening'. Hopefully, it is. It's just whether it goes early March or late May," Hearn exclusively told Sky Sports.
The biggest sticking point in making a deal is the weight.
Earlier this year, Brook made his debut in the junior middleweight limit of 154 - and he plans to weigh a few pounds less against Zerafa, while Khan wants the welterweight limit of 147-pounds, which Brook agreed to.
