Golden State Warriors’ Klay Thompson suffered a devastating blow on Thursday when an MRI confirmed that Thompson would miss the 2020-21 season after suffering a torn right Achilles during a workout on Wednesday.
According to Janie McCauley of the Associated Press, general manager Bob Myers called Curry and Draymond Green to deliver the news of Thompson’s confirmed diagnosis, and the two stars responded with, appropriately, nothing.

Green and Eric Paschall, as well as Curry, sent prayers to their teammate via social media, as did former Warriors centers Demarcus Cousins and Andrew Bogut, along with LeBron James, Trae Young, Bradley Beal and many more folks across the NBA community.
