Donny van de Beek reacts to Manchester United's Champions League defeat

Donny van de Beek says Manchester United lost confidence against Istanbul Basaksehir. The Red Devils were defeat by Istanbul in the Champions League with a 2-1 score on Wednesday night. Anthony Martial scored for United, however, it was not enough to earn any points for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side. "I'm really disappointed,” Van de Beek told BT Sport. “I think we started OK, the first 10 minutes, then we give a goal away. I don't know how. “After that I think we lose the confidence. We can play much better. We are a team and everyone has a responsibility and we can play much better. "Yes I had that feeling [that Martial’s goal was a turning point]. There was also a lot space to play and create something. “But I think today we create not many chances. We are Man United. We need to improve. “The games before, like last game against Arsenal was the same. I think we don't play our best game. Now we have to step up [for] the game against Everton." Van de Beek started from the first minutes, however, was replaced in the second half by Paul Pogba. source - DailyStar Join us on Telegram
