Donny van de Beek breaks silence on future amid Manchester United transfer interest

Donny van de Beek says he is relaxed about his future at Ajax. The player won't complain if he doesn't get a move away from Amsterdam this summer. The Dutch playmaker has been heavily tipped to move to Old Trafford this season. According to MEN Sport, he is of interest to United, though not a priority target. Edwin van der Sar said in June: "It’s clear that clubs like Real Madrid and United are showing interest in Donny van de Beek." The 23-year-old remains committed to the Eredivisie side despite speculation that he will be next for a big move abroad. "It is very messy, in any case a very messy period in terms of transfers," he admitted while speaking to Fox Sports. "Nothing is certain yet. I am still a player of Ajax and I am still proud to be there. "If there had not been the coronavirus, it might have been different now. There is no clarity now and we have to wait and see how it turns out. I'm still here and after all these years I still have a lot of fun. If I also play at Ajax next season, I still have a lot of fun. You won't hear me complaining." Source: MEN
