Doctor explains Andre Gomes' ankle injury suffered vs Tottenham

Doctor Bran Sutterer has posted a video, explaining how Andre Gomes got his ankle injury and how it should be recovered. Everton midfielder suffered a fracture-dislocation to his right ankle in the 79th minute of 1 - 1 Everton vs Tottenham clash tackled by Son Heung-min. The latter was sent off the game in tears after seeing the Portugal international's ankle. Everton officially stated: "Everton Football Club can confirm Andre Gomes will undergo surgery tomorrow (Monday, November 4) after sustaining an ankle injury in today’s game with Tottenham Hotspur. Andre was stretchered from the pitch during the second half off the game and was taken straight to Aintree Hospital by ambulance accompanied by members of the Everton medical team. After undergoing hospital tests, it was confirmed he had suffered a fracture-dislocation to his right ankle. The club will provide further updates in due course.” In spite of the serious problem, doctor Bran Sutterer believes the midfielder will be able to return to action.
