Diego Maradona offers to manage the Argentina national team for free

Diego Maradona has offered to manage Argentina for free after they were eliminated from World Cup, the Sun informs. The World Cup winner also travelled to Russia to watch his side’s game but he was left heartbroken as Jorge Sampaoli's side suffered a 4-3 defeat to France on Saturday. When Maradona was asked if he would take on the job again if the Argentina FA asked him, he replied: “Yes, and I would do it for free. “I wouldn’t ask for anything in return.” They add that Jorge Sampaoli is expected to stand down as national coach this coming week.
