Dennis Praet reveals secret behind Leicester teammate Ndidi’s nickname

Leicester City newcomer Dennis Praet has talked about his life at Leicester and his new teammates. Praet joined the Foxes this summer for £18 million. He was previously playing for Italian Sampdoria and now seems to enjoy his time in England, as he finds training in Italy a little bit boring. “I am very happy I made the move from Sampdoria to England,” he said. “The adjustment went smoothly, even though there is a big difference between Italy and England, where there is more intensity during training. In Italy, it is more tactical and also a bit more boring and long. (Rodgers) is a good coach and has a warm personality. He also talks a lot with the players, something that did not happen much in Italy.” The Belgian midfielder has also talked about his new teammates Youri Tielemans who is his fellow Anderlecht academy graduate, and Wilfred Ndidi, nicknaming him as “The Spider”: “Playing with Tielemans has always been fun,” Praet said. “It’s not that I dreamed of playing with him, that would be an exaggeration, but with a new team it is always nice to come across a familiar face. Ndidi is a real six, in training we call him ‘The Spider’ because he is everywhere with his feet.”
