Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez have been at the center of attention during the January transfer window as he is being linked with a move to Premier League side Arsenal.
Arsenal coach Unai Emery has claimed earlier that the club will only be doing loan moves, while Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has admitted that first-team players, who don’t get much playing time, are to leave the club.
Earlier today it has been reported that Arsenal had offered a €2 million loan fee but could not agree on the inclusion of a clause which would require them to permanently sign the midfielder at the end of the season.
However, ahead of the Copa del Rey game against Sevilla, Barcelona announced that following confirmation of the transfer of Boateng, he is in the squad to face Sevilla leaving Denis Suarez out.
