Dele Alli aims dig at Jose Mourinho after Tottenham's win over Wolves

Dele Alli's incredible performance helped Tottenham keep their hopes of European football alive. Goals have been hard to come by for Dele this season given he has been forced to watch much of it from the bench. After the contest, Dele Alli heaped praise on the kind of football his side are playing at the moment under Ryan Mason before he chuckled at being described as the Dele of old. The midfielder said: "I enjoy it when we have the ball and when we're playing with players like this, it's a joy to play." Ex-Spurs boss Jose Mourinho barely used the likes of Dele and Gareth Bale, many saw his comments as a subtle dig at the Portuguese boss. He continued: "I'm just trying to express myself, have fun and like I said I try and help the team as much as I can. Mentally, I try and help the team, whether it be making runs off the ball or getting on the ball and trying to create things - if we are going to win these games we have to all work together, I'm just trying to find rhythm, find form and play as well as I can for the club."
